Village Planning Commission <br />Meeting of June 30, 1969 <br /> <br />Members present at the June 30th meeting were <br />John MacGibbon, Al Bailey, Dan Bailey, Hilmer Bartelt <br />and Dick Gongoll. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Edmond Martin asked the commission about future <br />planning in an area bordering Oxford Street north of <br />Highway 10 & 52 adjacent to the railway property. <br />This unit is planned as a unit development area, mix- <br />ture of low density, multiple, etc. The commission <br />advised Mr. Martin to bring in plans for total area <br />development of this property if he wanted to start <br />something in the future. <br /> <br />Rex Oetinger of Fleetwood Construction asked for <br />a special variance permit to face a house northerly on <br />Lot 1 in North Terrace Addition. The set back would <br />be 1 9 I 4 II from S c h 0 0 1 S t r e e t wit had e qua t e set b a c k on <br />Holt Avenue. Motion by John MacGibbon, seconded by <br />Hilmer Bartelt, to grant variance, but with a minimum <br />of 211 as front yard set back. Motion granted with <br />commission to recommend variance to village council. <br /> <br />Dick Fredlund of Nason, Wehrman, Knight & Chapman <br />presented certain contract updating and a preliminary <br />land use report. Permission was given to use $300.00 <br />of village contract for further map and land use study <br />in the area north of the G.N. and N.P. railway and <br />parallel to the railway in the village adjacent to <br />the C. B . D . A fin all and use boo k 1 e t wi 11 be pub 1 i shed <br />at a later date with certain projections and additions <br />to the preliminary report presented at this time. <br /> <br />. <br />
