<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ELK RIVER PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES OF MEETINGS <br /> <br />The organizational meeting was held on March 15, 1965. <br /> <br />The following appointments have been made by the village council at their <br />previous meeting: Dan Bailey, three years; Richard, li'ongoll, three years; <br />Les Derr, two years; Albert lailey, one year; Paul Siegler, one year. <br />H. L. Johnson, representing the village council, and John MacGibbon as <br />village attorney were also members of the commission. All were present <br />at the meeting with the exception of Dan Bailey. <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson served as temporary chairman while the following were <br />unanimously elected: Dan Bailey, Chairman; Albert Bailey, Vice Chairman; <br />Paul Siegler, Secretary. <br /> <br />It was moved by MacGibbon, seconded by riongoll and adopted that: regular <br />meetings would be held the last Monday of April, July, October and January; <br />and that special meetings could be held on any other dates called by the <br />Chairman or any other two members with 24 hour notice in writing or <br />otherwise. <br /> <br />It was moved by Songoll, seconded by MacGibbon and adopted that the village <br />council be advised as follows: as part of long range planning, priority will <br />be given to area developments along highway 169, but present information <br />does not permit a recommendation for a change of this type. <br /> <br />~ongoll and Al Bailey volunteered to try to produce updated copies of the <br />zoning ordinance and Siegler to try and get zoning map copies. <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson was to contact Mr. Shattuck, who did the tlPical work on zoning, <br />to meet with the commission to discuss background on zoning originally <br />adopted. <br />
