Pay was set at $19.77 an hour, <br />with no benefits, and the goal was to have an individual with a Building Official-Limited license. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Staff has interviewed and is recommending the hiring of Adam Mitlyng for the subject position. <br />Adam has the appropriate certification and will also be completing his Building Inspection <br />Technology degree at North Hennepin in May. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br /> <br />Increased building revenue, based on a large number of commercial and institutional projects, will <br />cover the projected cost of this position. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Action Requested <br /> <br />Staff recommends hiring of Adam Mitlyng as temporary building inspector for a six month period <br />of time. <br />
