Resolution Adopting Final Assessment Roll <br />B. Resolution Acce tin Bid and Authorizin Execution of Contract <br /> <br /> <br />Introduction <br />The Dodge Avenue Assessment Hearing for the reconstruction of the roadway is scheduled for <br />April 3, 2006. Bidding of the project has been authorized and bids will be received earlier that <br />day. Bids will be presented at the City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Discussion <br />I will have a brief presentation for the assessment hearing regarding the project and the proposed <br />assessment. After the presentation and conducting the assessment hearing, it would be <br />appropriate to consider the attached resolutions. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />It is estimated in the feasibility study that the portion of the project that will not be assessed and <br />will be funded by the City is $168,000. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />. Resolution Accepting the Bid and Authorizing the Execution of the Contract in the <br />Matter of the Dodge Avenue and Waco Street Reconstruction Improvements <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />After closing the Assessment Hearing, it would be appropriate for the City Council to consider <br />passage of the Resolution Adopting the Final Assessment Role for the Dodge Avenue <br />Improvement. If there are no objections to the proposed assessment, the City Council could also <br />consider the adoption of the Resolution Accepting the Bid and Authorizing Execution of the <br />Contract for both the Dodge Avenue and Waco Street Improvements. (Bids will be available that <br />evening). If any objections to the proposed assessments are received at or before the Assessment <br />Hearing, there is sufficient time in the contract for the City Council to allow the 30-day appeal <br />period to elapse before considering award of the contract. <br /> <br />Council Action <br /> <br />Motion by _ <br /> <br />Second by _ <br /> <br />Vote <br /> <br />Follow Up <br />
