City of <br />Elk - <br />River <br />City of Elk River <br />City Council <br />Resolution 25-21 <br />A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Accepting a Bench <br />Donation from Stoneworks Architectural Precast <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a bench donation from Stoneworks <br />Architectural Precast with the intent it be used by the Police Department at their facility; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, The bench will serve as a remembrance to former Elk River Police <br />Department Officer, Todd Besser, who passed away May 9, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, The bench will be presented at a 10-year anniversary memorial service on <br />May 18, 2025. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths <br />vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Stoneworks Architectural Precast for their <br />donation. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />Wagner and duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer, and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Be�,er, Calva, Grupa. <br />and Wagner and the following against: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly <br />passed and adopted. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Beyer.
