Paul Ouellette,. })a,tty Ba:iiley <br /> <br />LeB Anderson mowed and B~v hude seconded the motion to <br />approve the minutes of the last regular meeting. The vote <br />was unanimous. Bev Rude gawe the treasurer's repor~_ Tbe <br />balance on hand is $3,39~-05. <br /> <br />Bev Rude read a thankyou note from Youth HClckey for the <br />$300.00 that will be used f'or open skating.. <br /> <br />Les Anderson mowed and Bev Rude seconded the motion to <br />postpone the elect:Lon of new officers; until next month's <br />regular meeting.. It was passed unanimously~ <br /> <br />J~m Dingle and Bew Rude will meet for the purpose of preparing <br />a financial stc3tement to the Oi ty and Park Board.. <br /> <br />No report was given on horseback riding.. <br /> <br />It was reported that Linda Anderson had checked with <br />Stuart Wilson about Youth Hoc:keyF'unds. It was estc.lblished <br />that though the United Fund had given You~h Hockey a check <br />in the summery Youth Hockey still needed more :funds. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Swimming - Jim Dingle will represent the Recreation DoaI'd <br />at the Park Board meeting to discuss public use of th~ <br />swimming pool. <br /> <br />Gymnastics - Patty Bailey reported on the results of the <br />Spring session. Provided no, one else drops from the program" <br />the Hecreation Board will need to pay $9:)).00 toward the <br />salaries oj]' the teac:hers:. This :Jligure does not include tre <br />Saturday sessions or miscellaneous costs as advertizing <br />and mailing expendituTBs. <br /> <br />New Business - <br />Suggested Summer Programs <br />Jan Ouellette will check on a roLler skating outting. <br />Bev Rude will check on a Baton class. <br />An outting to a theatre was suggested. <br />Jan Ouellette will check on a Recreation Board and Commun:iity <br />Theatre co-sDonsored urogram that would ~rain children <br />J_I., ....o..Y <br />interested in plays.
