<br /> <br />-.., <br /> <br />MAY RIVER JOINT BOARD PARK MEETING <br />HELD IN THE CITY OFFICE BUILDING <br /> <br />June 26, at 7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Gene Schultd, Gene Scribner, Don Strei, Shirley <br />Matueski, Bob Westerlund. <br /> <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: None. <br /> <br />Will Daniels resigned from the Board; Bob Westerlund is filling out Les Derrs <br />spot which is until January, 1976. <br /> <br />Mrs. Inman called her son Terry had a dental injury. Wished to know our coverage. <br />Was told to call Al Froliech. <br /> <br />Shed behind jail for summer storage for recreation program equipment. <br /> <br />Tennis equipment taken care of and under control. <br /> <br />Still checking into possibility of putting light poles into the Tennis Court. If <br />we get lights they will pick up the expense. <br /> <br />Finding out about vollying equipment is a project for our board. <br /> <br />BILLS TO BE PAID APPROVED <br /> <br />Dickinson Bus Lines, $28.00 <br />Gene Schultdf $5.20 <br />For sign for Tennis Court Approved. <br /> <br />Bus schedule for girls softball submitted to the board. <br /> <br />A building or place has been suggested to find for a storage place for our <br />recreation program equipment. Don Strei is going to start the investigation <br />into it. <br /> <br />PUBLICITY <br /> <br />Don Strei will look into getting some pictures into the paper of our volunteers. <br /> <br />Gene Scribmer moved we put an article in the paper giving due credit to all our <br />volunteers and what they have done and also if all possible to have an appreceation <br />dinner for all involved and their sponsors. Don Strei seconded it. <br /> <br />A seperate article printed giving recognition to all people or clubs contributing to the <br />recreation program was approved. <br /> <br />Next Meeting, July 18, at 7.00 <br /> <br />Bob Westerlurid has been appointed to take care of the many deposits for the recreation <br />board. <br /> <br />Don Strei motioned to adjourn. Gene Scribner seconded it. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned. <br />
