Gordon Fredericksen explained land needs of the Fair Grounds. <br />Jerry Jackson stated a need for lights at the outfield snow fences for softball. There <br />was a general discussion of the need for G. central authority to plan and coordinate all <br />park and recreational activities. <br /> <br />Bob Otto delegated to contact surrounding townships regarding =;articipation in a rec- <br />reational program. Duane Becklin delegated to check on recreition organization in <br />Ca.mbridge. <br /> <br />Bob Syring reported that the Babcock Park would be improved for a sum of ~i;35 ,000.00. <br /> <br />Recormnended park improvements for this year i,re: (1) tarring road surface, (2) two <br />gates for the s't-rimming beach <br /> <br />Next meeting set for Nay 3, 1972 at 7:30 pm. to be held in the Village Office Building. <br /> <br /> <br />No further business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
