The proposed <br />project will complete two trail gap segments in the eastern portion of Elk River along Twin Lakes Road <br />(CSAH 13) and Cleveland (CR 40). There were a total of 10 bids received ranging from $779,719.90 to <br />$1,432,588.40. <br />The low bid was submitted by Veit & Company, Inc. <br />Financial Impact <br />On April 7, 2022, the Central Minnesota Area Transportation Partnership (ATP-3) selected this project to <br />receive $830,332 in federal funds via the Transportation Alternatives Program Application. To qualify for the <br />funds the city is required to provide a 20% match towards all eligible project costs. Our match is for <br />$155,943.98 of the construction costs.
