We have been recruiting police officer candidates on an ongoing basis and
interviewed Elizabeth Norberg in March before she was finished with her law enforcement schooling. We
started her background then and completed the medical and psychological testing after she finished school.
We would like to hire Elizabeth Norberg to fill our vacancy.
In addition to being a recent law enforcement graduate, Ms. Norberg worked in loss prevention at Fleet Farm.
She has also worked seasonally as a laborer at a resort and in sales at Kohl's.
Ms. Norberg will start at pay step 2 of the LELS Local 231 contract. All pay and benefits will be consistent
with city policy and union contract.
Financial Impact
This is a budgeted position.
Mission/Policy/Goal
The Elk River Mission
Attachments
None
The Elk River Vision
A welcoming 6ommuwi , with revolutionary and spirited resourcyidnm, exceptional service, and community P d W E R E D 0d
engagement that encourager and inspirerpro perityINPaU 159
