With the
acceptance of the agreement and selection of the drain/drains, these will be the drain/drains the city elects to
`adopt.'
Staff recommends adding this component to our existing Adopt -a -Park and Adopt -a -Pond programs.
Recreation currently has 37 parks `adopted' by residents or businesses. Storm drains near existing ponds are a
priority. Additional drains will be identified and selected based on volunteer levels.
Financial Impact
N/A
Mission/Policy/Goal
Work with citizens to achieve goals.
Attachments
I. 4.8 Action- RequestedJune 2024
2. 4.8 at AASDJPA_CityofElkRiver Agr 6.17.2024
The Elk River Vision
A avelcoming community with revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional service, and community p p W E R E U A Y
engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity
372
