The permit will run for two years from March 1, 2006 until February 28, <br />2008. <br /> <br />Discussion <br />The City's ordinance requires that 75% of the lawful purpose expenditures must be spent within the <br />City's trade area. The trade area for Elk River includes the cities of Elk River, Ramsey, Otsego, Rogers, <br />and Zimmerman. The attached chart shows that the amount of expenditures spent in the trade area <br />during the years 2004 and 2005 exceeded the required 75%. <br /> <br />FinanciallmDact <br />If American Legion Post 112 is not allowed a Premises Permit, the trade area would not receive 75% of <br />the lawful purpose expenditures. <br /> <br />Attachments <br />.
