Q <br />Ordinance 24 - 8 <br />An Ordinance Amending Section S4.31. — Closing Hours, of the City of Elk River, <br />Minnesota, City Code to Clarify Trail Closures <br />SECTION 1. That § 54-31. — Closing hours, of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances is <br />amended to add the underlined language and remove the saikedivough langdage-as follows: <br />Sec. 54-31. — Park and Trail Closing C-1esir-g4mmrs. <br />(a) No person shall enter or remain upon the grounds of any public park within the city <br />after 10:00 p.m. or before 6:00 a.m. Any person involved in a city sponsored/sanctioned <br />program or activity may be allowed to enter or remain upon the grounds of any public <br />park within the city at any time. <br />(b) Individuals shall be allowed to enter or remain upon the grounds of Hillside City Park <br />and Woodland Trails Park within the city until 12:00 a.m. under the following <br />circumstances: <br />(1) A permit to enter or remain in these two parks is approved by the recreation <br />manager or designee and the users intended purpose complies with all special use <br />requirements. <br />(2) All persons in the park after 10:00 p.m. must display their permit as required through <br />the permitting process. <br />(c) No person shall enter or remain upon the grounds of any trail in a public park within the <br />city at anv time a "Trail Closed" or similar sign is posted for the trail by the pity. <br />SECTION 2.
