Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution 24-03 A Resolution of the City of Elk River Approving Notice of Summary Publication of Ordinance #24-01 an Ordinance Adopting the 2024 Master Fee Schedule WHEREAS, on January 2, 2024 the Elk River City Council adopted Ordinance 24-01 approving the 2024 Master Fee Schedule; and WHEREAS, the enactment of this ordinance establishes fees and charges required by the City Code and to comply with Minnesota Statutes 462.353, sub.4; and WHEREAS, the 2024 Master Fee Schedule lists fees and charges for Administrative, Financial, Environmental, Planning, Development, Building, Parks and Recreation, Fire, Police, and Elk River Municipal Utility services along with code enforcement violations; and WHEREAS, a copy of the full text of the ordinance is available for inspection by any person at the Office of the City Clerk, City of Elk River, 13065 Orono Parkway, during regular business hours — 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, as follows: by at least four -fifths vote, authorizes the publication of the title and summary of Ordinance 24-01 and that Ordinance 24-01 shall become effective January 2, 2024. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Gam, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Grupa, Wesrgaard, Beyer, and Wagner and the following against: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. The following members were present: Mayor Dietz, Councihnembers Grupa, Westgaard, Beyer, and Wagner and the following absent: none. Passed and adopted this 2nd day of January 2024.
