to be removed <br />Underlines to be added <br />Ordinance 24 - 06 <br />An Ordinance Amending Chapter 30, Sections 30- I, Definitions, and 30-1292 1-1 <br />Light Industrial District, of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, City Code <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows: <br />SECTION 1. That § 30-1, Definitions of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances shall be <br />amended to add the following definition: <br />Commercial Cannabis Cultivation means the operation of am- business licensed as a cannabis cultivator <br />or medical cannabis cultivator under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 342. <br />SECTION 2. That § 30-1292 (d), I-1 light industrial district — Conditional uses of the City of <br />Elk River Code of Ordinances shall be amended to read as follows: <br />(d) Conditional uses. Conditional uses in the I-1 district are as follows: <br />(1) Brewer taprooms. <br />(2) Bus storage. Not to exceed ten buses, unless the property has direct access to an arterial or <br />collector street. <br />(3) Commercial Cannabis Cultivation. provided that: <br />a. The proposed cultivation facilin has all permits required for operation, including; all <br />hermits required by the State of Minnesota under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 342. as <br />it ma)� be amended from time to time. A conditional use permit under this section <br />mar issue before the grantee has obtained all necessan, permits; however, the €rrantee <br />shall submit proof of obtaining the necessan hermits to the Cin- of Elk River before <br />anx cultivation operations begin. <br />(34) Commercial recreational facilities. <br />(45) Dry cleaning establishments. <br />(36) Government facilities. <br />(07) Landscaping contractor yards. <br />(7S) Microbreweries. <br />($9) Motor vehicle, trailer, and/or equipment sales. <br />(931G) Outdoor storage (accessory to principal use). <br />(4$11) Recycling processing centers. <br />(4412) Residential, single-family accessory to principal uses, provided that: <br />a.
