Memo from the City Engineer <br /> <br />Overview <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting that the City vacate a portion of the right-of-way of York Street. <br />The right-of-way extends from Main Street north to Lake Orono. The right-of-way is about <br />60 feet wide, was originally platted as part of the Town of Orono plat and has been utilized <br />by the applicant as yard and their driveway to Main Street. <br /> <br />The right-of~way could be used to provide public access to Lake Orono. This currently <br />underutilized resource could be developed as an easily accessible point to access Lake <br />
