<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />August 11, 1915 <br /> <br />A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Bank of Elk River on Wednesday Aug 11, 1915. <br /> <br />Present – C.F. Fiman Pres, F.E. Plank, E.J. Keegan, Trustee and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and allowed. <br /> <br />W.P. Rhoda agent Ry Co freight 132.05 <br />Indiana Refining Co 19.26 <br />C.E. Falk Co 7.40 <br />W.F. Chadbourne 2.35 <br />Walter S. Booth and son 1.00 <br />Robert Adams 8.85 <br />C.F. Fiman 2.05 <br />A.N. Dare 32.95 <br />Arthur Jouso 2.50 <br />C.F. Fiman for relief of Mrs. Goodin 60.00 <br /> <br />In the matter above mentioned (Mrs. Geo Goodin) on motion duly made seconded and carried it <br />was decided to aid said Mrs. Goodin now a the Walker Sanatorium to the extent of 60.00. <br /> <br />The Standard Oil Co of Indiana asked for a permit to erect a filing station at end of Miss. River <br />Bridge on Lot 4 <br /> <br />On motion Clerk instructed to issue same. <br /> <br />J.C. Hulbert asked for permit to build a so called fire proof store building on Princeton St adjoining <br />Bank of Elk River on motion permit granted. This building being within the fire . <br />Plans and specifications were filed for inspection. No further business adjourned. <br /> <br />W.F. Chadbourne <br />Clerk <br /> <br />
