<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />February 29, 1916 <br /> <br />A meeting of Village Council was held at the Office of C.F. Fiman Pres at the Bank of Elk River on <br />Tuesday Feb 29, 1916. <br /> <br />Present – C.F. Fiman Pres, F.M. Plank, E.J. Keegan and E.E. Scott Trustee and W.F. Chadbourne, <br />Clerk. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Pres at 8:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed <br /> <br />The E.R. Power and Light Co for fixtures on Streets 588.58 <br />Waterous Engine Co replace for engine 38.00 <br />E.R. Garage 21.01 <br />Kocher Daly Co .30 <br /> <br />After some discussion in regard to more light in Park and in alley back of stores. It was decided to <br />puchase a 500 volt lamp and put it on top of Band Stand and connect with street lamps. <br /> <br />Mr. Waterman of the E.R. Power and Light Co agreeing to furnish electricty at the rate of 5.00 per <br />month for same. It was also decided to put lights in alley. The E.R.
