<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />January 10, 1917 <br /> <br />A Regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Office of C.F. Fiman on Wednesday Jan 10 <br />1917 <br /> <br />Present – C.F. Fiman, Pres, E.E. Scott, E.J. Keegan Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Pres at 8:15 P.M. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed <br />Elk River Garage care of fire engine 9.92 <br />Aug Wruck labor on St 6.25 <br />Charles Nord 1.25 <br /> <br />On motion duly made seconded and declared carried the Clerk was ordered to draw an order on <br />Treas for the sum of Twenty five 25.00 to aid in caring for Rest Room. <br /> <br />The following resolution was adopted unanimously <br /> <br />Whereas the Council being informed by the Minn State Sanitorium that Mrs. Thomas Gilfoy a <br />patient from their Village was unable to pay for further care at said sanitorium and it being necessary <br />to have more funds for her care. <br /> <br />Therefore resolved that the sum of $32.00 be appropriated from the general fund to pay for care <br />already received and also to pay one half of two months more care at said sanitorium. The Co. of <br />Sherburne to pay bal said one half to be paid when due if services are ordered. Also the bill for care <br />of Mrs. Lydia Goodin deceased be paid. <br /> <br />No further business adjourned. <br />W.F. Chadbourne <br />Vill Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
