Laura Domyancich-Lee, FMR Ecologist presented recommendations to the Commission at the <br />November 8 meeting. A public open meeting facilitated by the FMR staff was also held on November 8 prior to the <br />Commission meeting. Commissioners and the public were able to provide input on the plan to preserve and restore <br />habitat, protect water quality, and provide valuable recreational opportunities at Camp Cozy. <br /> <br />It is important the NRMP will not restrict the city’s ability to program the park in the future. Recreational <br />opportunities recommended in the NRMP includes trail access provided by the existing trail network, picnic areas <br />and improved access to the river. The NRMP can be used as an appendix/attachment to the system wide Parks <br />Master Plan expected to be developed in 2025. <br /> <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />None.
