VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 14, 1922 Was held on Tuesday evening Nov 14, 1922 Present- M.K. Iliff, Pres,J.E. Hamlet, C.A. Morse, Geo Cornelius, Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk Visitors - Dr. R.W. Archibald Minneapolis State Board of Health Mr. Pische assistant Dairy and Food Inspector St Paul C.C. Hickman Co. SuptJohn P. O'Grady representing the Badger Meter Co MilwaukeeMeeting called to order by the Pres at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Archibald presented an Ordinance to the Council in regard to the licensing and regulating the sale of milk in Elk River and recommending its adoption by the Council after the reading and discussing the subject was referred to the committee to report at the next regular meeting for second reading. The water works com. Reported it necessary to purchase more meters for the Village. The Council entered into an agreement with Mr. O'Grady to deliver 45 meters during the next 12 months Tyle "A" ¾ Bager for the sum of $10.25 each F.O.B. Elk River in such quantities as the com. May direct paying for them as fast as rec'd. The following bills were presented and on motion duly made seconded and declared carried were allowed and clerk ordered to issue warrants for their respective accts.
