<br /> <br />Meeting of the Elk River Board of Adjustments <br />Held at the Elk River City Hall <br />Tuesday, July 25, 2023 <br /> <br /> <br />Members Present: Chari Jill Larson-Vito, Commissioners Perry Beise, Dennis Booth, Craig Keisling, and Tony <br />Mauren <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioners Eric Johnson and Rob Rydberg <br /> <br />Council Liaison: Councilmember Matt Westgaard <br /> <br />Staff Present: Senior Planner Chris Leeseberg and Sr. Administrative Assistant Jennifer Green <br /> <br />1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Board of Adjustments was called to <br />order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Larson-Vito. <br /> <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance: <br /> <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />3. Consider Agenda <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Beise and seconded by Commissioner Booth to approve the July 25, 2023, <br />Board of Adjustments agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />4. Consider Minutes <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Keisling and seconded by Commissioner Mauren to approve the June 27, <br />2023, Board of Adjustments minutes. <br /> <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />5.1 The Cove – 13161 US Highway 10 <br /> Front Yard, Side Yard, and Property Width Setback Variances, Case No. V 23-06 <br /> <br /> Mr. Leeseberg presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Chair Larson-Vito opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />There being no one to speak, Chair Larson-Vito closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Keisling and seconded by Commissioner Beise to approve the Front <br />Yard, Side Yard, and Property Width Setback Variance (reducing the front-yard setback to 25-feet, <br />modifying the side-yard setback to be 7.5-feet, and reducing the minimum lot width to 66-feet) for <br />the following reasons: <br />1. The general purpose and intent of the ordinance are met. <br />
