Call Meetinq To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Park & <br />Recreation Commission was called to order at 7: 12 p.m. by Chair Dana <br />Anderson. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consider September 11, 1996. Park & Recreation Commission Aqenda <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER DAVE ANDERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE SEPTEMBER 11, 1996 <br />PARK & RECREATION AGENDA. COMMISSIONER OLSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />4. Consider Auqust 7, 1996. Park & Recreation Meetinq <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OLSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE AUGUST 7, 1996 MINUTES. <br />COMMISSIONER ROLFE ANDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />6. Open Mike <br /> <br />No one appeared for this item. <br /> <br />7. Area Recreation Update - Jeff Asfahl <br /> <br />.Jeff Asfahl. Community Recreation Director, updated the Park & Recreation <br />Commission on the" Lions Den". The Lions Den was a success and staff is working <br />on suggestions for next year. Approximately 1 0 to 20 kids per night showed up <br />with 50 to 80 kids showing up during special programs. <br /> <br />Phi! Hels. Street/Park Department. stated the kids took ownership of Lion's park <br />by cleaning up. painting picnic tables. etc. <br />
