<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 11, 1972 <br /> <br />The monthly meeting of Elk River Twp was called to order by the chairman F Madsen. A motion <br />was made by E. Schulke seconded by E. Specht that fire call bills be paid and clerk send appropriate <br />letters to try and recover costs of fire calls. The motion was carried. A motion was made be Earl <br />Schulke seconded by Everett Specht that the Big Lake Gravel Co. bill be paid. Motion carried. A <br />motion was made and seconded that the bill for the new township manuals be paid. The motion <br />carried. Gary Santwire and Jim Hummel appeared before the board. Jim Hummel is building a house <br />on land owned formerly by Ted Moritz. They were present to ask for a road into the property. Earl <br />Schulke moved and seconded by E Specht that the board order from Merlin Wicktar 42 ft 15” and <br />325’ of 12” culverts.
