<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 8, 1969 <br /> <br />The Town Board met with all members present. Marvin George presented his plat for an addition <br />on property formerly owned by John Vacha. This property joins the Village on the north. A motion <br />was made by Melvil Peterson and seconded by Earl Schulke. The Board accepted the plat. Motion <br />was carried. Next Neal Larson presented his plat which is on land formerly owned by Wallace Scott. <br />A motion was made that the plat of Neal Larson was voted and accepted. A request was made to <br />have the road tarred between Highway 10 and Camp Cozy and the road south. A group from the <br />road known as the Burandt road appeared. They said their road was in a very rough condition. The <br />Board agreed to get some signs for speed control on this road. Menzel Realty appeared before the <br />Town Board. He had a plan for a Mobile trailer court. Also there was a plan mentioned to build a <br />mobile home factory. This would not be built unless a trailer court could be also done. Jim Neilson <br />an attorney appeared for Mr. Eisenschuk and Mr. Menoeld in regard to building a machinery <br />building also a temporary permit for a mobile home. <br /> <br />Revenue Fund <br />Earl Schulke 8.00 <br />E.L.
