<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />OCTOBER 7, 1967 <br /> <br />The Town Board held a special meeting at the home of Merrill Kampa. The purpose of the meeting <br />was to see what can be done to improve the road to the Kampa home from County road. It was <br />suggested that the road should be graded to 24 foot top. The chairman asked Mike Hoffer if we <br />could take land to widen road. He said he would be ready to take fence down and allow land to back <br />slop if the same amount be taken from both sides of the road. <br />The board agreed to build an approach near the end of field near county road. the Kampas were <br />asked to build their end of the road to match the town road. Merrill Kampa agreed to do same. The <br />Kampas are to keep their end in repair and in return the town will grade and snow plow same. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />E.V.
