<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER SPECIAL MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 9, 1913 <br /> <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Village Council was held on Wednesday evening August 9, 1913, at the <br />office of Charles F. Furman. <br /> <br />Present: Ked Keagan acting President, E.E. Scott and Ed Keagan Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne, <br />Clerk. <br /> <br />Visitor – B.L. Hall <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed. <br />J.E. Hamlet – gasoline - $23.10 <br />E.J. Keagan – 6 days team on street @4.50 - $27.00 <br />R.D. - 3 ½ days team on street @4.50 - $15.75 <br />James Clule – 6 ½ days team on street @4.50 - $29.25 <br />M.K. Iliff – 5 days team on street @4.50 - $22.50 <br />E.L. Clark – 6 ½ days shoveling @2.25 - $14.62 <br />Will Mansen – 6 ½ shoveling @2.25 - $14.62 <br />M. Auspes – 6 ½ shoveling @2.25 - $14.62 <br />R.D. Roath 1 ½ shoveling - $3.37 <br />Ed Healey – 7 ½ shoveling - $16.87 <br />William D{illegible} – 7 ½ shoveling – 18.75 <br /> <br />B.L. Hall was appointed city weigh master to commence duties Monday August 11 at $3.00 per day <br />as long as the scales earned that amount subject to the will of Council.
