<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER SPECIAL MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />April 8, 1911 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Common Council was held on Saturday, April 8, 1911 in the office of Geo. E. <br />Page. <br /> <br />Present: Plummer, President, Page, Babcock and Worden, Trustees and Chadbourne, Village Recorder. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by the President at 5:00 p.m. This meeting was called for the purpose <br />of appointing a Village Marshal and street lighter, Harry Hauclet offered to attend to both duties for <br />$60 per month. <br /> <br />Henry Pargabos offered to do sauce work for $50.00 per month. <br /> <br />On motion Babcock seconded by Worden, Harry Hauclet was appointed. <br /> Aye – Babcock, Worden, Chadbourne <br /> No – Geo. E. Page <br /> <br />It was the sense of the council that her after ordinance No. 10 should be re??ly enforced in regard to <br />misdemeanors and drunkenness. <br /> <br />No other business to come before the meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />W.F.
