<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 31, 1911 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />A meeting of the Common Council was held on Friday evening, March 31, 1911 in the office of Geo. <br />E. Page. <br /> <br />Present: Plummer, President, Page, Babcock and Worden, Trustees and Chadbourne, Village Recorder. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and allowed by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />R.E. Dare – for disinfectant - $17.08 <br />J.H. Romdenne – medicines furnished for people - $16.15 <br />A.N. Dare – presenting notice of application for license - $6.60 <br />A.N. Dare – presenting minutes of Council meeting - $3.00 <br />M.K. Iliff – Marshal fees for Jan, Feb, and March ($15) - $45.00 <br />John Walley – Marshal night of Jan 31, 1911 - $2.00 <br />Godpry Wictor - ? for ditch tax - $17.22 <br />N.D. Trumbull – hall for annual election March 14, 1911 - $3.00 <br />L. Pollard – Judge for annual election March 14, 1911 - $2.00 <br />E.P. Babcock - Judge for annual election March 14, 1911 - $2.00 <br />W.F. Chadbourne – clerk of election and posting notices - $2.75 <br /> <br />On motion council authorized W.F. Chadbourne to look after repairing tubes on north side of Briodge <br />over Mississippi river. <br /> <br />No other business to come before the meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />W.F.
