<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 2, 1910 <br /> <br /> <br />The Common Council met at the Bank of Elk River. <br /> <br />Members present: F.L. Salter, President, J. Virgin, L. Pollard, B. Carr trustees, O.J. Whitman, recorder. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the President at 8:00 p.m. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 58 was read and on motion by Pollard and seconded by Virgin was adopted and ordered <br />published in the Sherburne County Star news. <br /> See ordinance book. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 59 was read and on motion by Pollard seconded by Carr was adopted and ordered <br />published in the Sherburne County Star news. <br /> <br />The matter of transferring the liquor license from Andrew C. Morgan to S.A. Blanchett and Geo H. <br />Blanchett on motion by Pollard and seconded by Virgin was transferred subject to approval of the Bond <br />by S.A. Blanchett and Geo H. Blanchett. <br /> <br />On motion the following bills were audited and allowed: <br />37 – Pollard – 4 8/10 days work on street - $9.60 <br />38 – Standard Oil Co. – gasoline - $5.68 <br />39 – Fritz & Cross – 1-2 form finance book bound in ½ leather division sheets & tables - $12.50 <br />40 – Patterson St Lighting Co. – 10 doz mantles, 4 doz feed pipes - $24.84 <br />41 – M.K. Iliff – services as Marshal for August - $15.00 <br />42 – Harold Keays – lighting lamps for August - $20.00 <br /> TOTAL - $87.62 <br /> <br /> <br />No further business adjourned carried. <br /> <br />O.J.
