<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 6, 1910 <br /> <br /> <br />The Common Council met at the Bank of Elk River. <br /> <br />Members present: F.L. Salter, President, B. Carr, J. Virgin, L. Pollard, trustees, O.J. Whitman, <br />recorder. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the President at 8:15 p.m. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. <br /> <br />A motion by Virgin and seconded by Pollard to have two hundred tickets for Voting on license was <br />carried and the recorder was instructed to have them printed. <br /> <br />On motion the following bills were audited and allowed: <br />Charles S. Wheaton – legal services - $15.00 <br />Walter S. Booth & Son – recorder supplies - $2.92 <br />A.N. Dare – 1000 verified statements $4.50 <br />F.W. Nickerson – 240 loads gravel - $12.00 <br /> TOTAL - $34.42 <br /> <br />The annual reports of village treasurer and recorder were presented and approved on motion were <br />ordered filed. <br /> <br />No further business adjourned carried. <br /> <br />O.J.
