<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />August 30, 1907 <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of the proceeding of the Village Council of the Village of Elk River in the County of <br />Sherburne and State of Minnesota including all accounts audited by said Council. <br /> <br />Common Council met at the store of R.E. Dare August 30, 1907 <br /> <br />Present: R.E. Dare Pres. S.M., Crockett and W.P. Rhoda and Justus de Booy Trustees and W.F. <br />Ghadboune, Recorder <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed. <br />H.G. Hastings cash fund for weigh books and expuso??? - $6.62 <br />H.G. Hastings city weighing to August 31-07-18 days - $36.00 <br />G.E. Page MD - ?????? to as per bill - $9.50 <br />M.K. Iliff – service as Marshall for August - $10.00 <br />Justus de Booy – labor on fire engine - $5.00 <br />Justus de Booy – labor on streets - $8.75 <br />M.G. Blanchett – meals for prisoner - $.50 <br /> <br />J. de Booy was authorized to purchase 6 streetlamps using his judgement as to kind of lamp. <br /> <br />John Bithes was appointed Marshall until futher orders at a salary of $50 per month. <br /> <br />W.F. Ghadbourne was instructed to look over bridge across Elk River and see what repairs were <br />needed. <br /> <br />Mr. L. Pollard was chosen to look after the streets and repair on ??. <br /> <br />Sidewalk con.
