<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />April 4, 1907 <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of the proceeding of the Village Council of the Village of Elk River in the County of <br />Sherburne and State of Minnesota including all accounts audited by said Council. <br /> <br />Common Council met at the store of R.E. Dare April 4, 1907 <br /> <br />Present: R.E. Dare Pres. Justus de-Booy, S.M. Crockett, W.P. Rhoda Trustees and W.F. <br />Ghadboune, Recorder <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed: <br />W.M. Morgan – sheet work - $14.00 <br />N.D. Trumball – hall work - $3.00 <br />W.B. Eatin – lighting lamps March - $10.00 <br />Jutus de-Booy - $11.30 <br />G.E. Page – M.D. - $5.00 <br /> <br />R.E. Dare was instructed to telephone Mr. C.A.P. Turner C.E. in regard to best methods of fixing <br />ice break on north shore of bridge and asking him to come up and view sa???? At his earliest <br />convenience. <br /> <br />In regard to Village Marshall, M.K. Sliff Sheriff of Sherburne Co. was called in and asked if he would <br />look after R.R. crossings and bridge and attend to such matters as pertains to the office of Village <br />Marshall for the month of April for the consideration of $10.00 for service. He ag???? To do so was <br />duly engaged. <br /> <br />Nothing further appearing, adjourned. <br /> <br />W.F. Ghadboune, recorder <br /> <br /> <br />
