<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />March 16, 1964 <br /> <br />The town board met in ? of organization. Mel Peterson was sworn in office for three years. The <br />Schultz Brothers with Mr. L. G. Menzel met with the board to explain their plan to raise hogs on the <br />farm of Harold Christian. They plan to use garbage which is steamed first before feeding. There is to <br />be no rubbish or papers to be hauled to this place only garbage. Mr. Menzel is to get a written <br />agreement from the Town Board. The motion to go along with the plan as explained was made by <br />Earl Schulke, seconded by Mel Peterson. Motion carried.
