<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />August 22, 1962 <br /> <br /> <br />The Clerk of Elk River called a special meeting of the Town Board to meet with a group <br />representing the Big Lake, Monticello, Upper Town district. From the group the following were <br />present: A.R. Christianson, Hugh Mitchell, Oliver Knudson, Geo Phillips, Meredith Olson. All of <br />the Elk River Board were present. The district consists of 4 townships and 2 villages. The group <br />gave much valuable information. The board then sent on record as being in favor of the Big Lake <br />and Monticello Hospital Dist. The motion was carried unanimously. Motion made by E. Specht and <br />seconded by Earl Schulke and carried by all. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />E. Rathbun <br />Clerk <br /> <br />
