<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 7, 1927 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Village Council was held at the Library Room on Monday, November 7, <br />1927. <br /> <br />Present – Roland K. Wilson, Pres, Geo Cornelius, L.L. Bishop, EE Scott, Trustees, W.F. <br />Chadbourne, Clerk <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the President at 8 o’clock P.M. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed. <br />Henry Rupprecht rent for Mrs. Decker Oct 10.00 <br />W.H. Clements cleaning streets 28.00 <br />Chas Roggatz draying 1.00 <br />Eklund Drug Co fumigators 4.65 <br />E.R. Power and Light Co repairs 11.00 <br />Badger Meter Mfg Co repairs for meters 22.61 <br />James McCullough sidewalk labor 27.10 <br />E.R. Lumber Co cement 12.79 <br />Odegard Hoglund Co repairs fire engine 1.15 <br />E.R. Fire Dept attending fire at Elliotts 12.00 <br />Caley Hardware Co. material at water tank 19.96 <br /> <br />Mr. James McCullough having applied for License to sell milk and having a recommend \[sic\] from <br />Dr. Melgaard, milk inspector. On motion, clerk was instructed to issue said license. <br /> <br />On motion the clerk was instructed to notify all water users having hot water connections with <br />heating plant to install a check valve to prevent hot water from entering meter and destroying same. <br /> <br />No further business appearing, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />W.F.
