<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 10, 1927 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Village Council was held at the Library Room on July 10, 1927. This <br />th <br />meeting being postponed from July 4, 1927 on account of it being a holiday. <br /> <br />Present – Roland K. Wilson, Pres, George Cornelius, L.L. Bishop, Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne, <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the President at 8 o’clock P.M. <br /> <br />Committee from the Community Club represented by Susan Dare and Mrs. Fred Greupner asking <br />that the council appropriate $20.00 as requested for the care of the Park. <br /> <br />In regard to the care of May Dawson by the Council it was decided that until further orders that <br />instead of allowing bills for her support it was unanimously resolved that the sum of $15.00 per <br />month be given direct to her. Clerk instructed to draw a warrant for same each month. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed. <br />The Barrett Co 4 bbls. Tarvia 49.50 <br />Chas.
