<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 4, 1925 <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council was held at the Library Room on Monday May 4, 1925 <br /> <br />Present – Roland K Wilson, Pres, Geo Cornelius, L.L. Bishop, B.E. Fournier, Trustees <br /> <br />Visitors – Dr. Melgaard and Fred Ayers <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the Pres at 8 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />The bond of T.H. Daly Village Treas was presented and on motion accepted. <br /> <br />Dr. Melgaard milk inspector presented the following applications from parties asking asking for <br />license to sell milk and cream in the village and recommended that licenses be granted to the <br />persons named below <br /> <br />P.V. Christian, Guy LaPlant, J.W. Parker, and Herman Gruepner <br /> <br />On motion their request was granted an clerk instructed to issue license. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed <br /> <br />Miller-Davis Co blanks for JP office 19.21 <br />Daly Auto Co rent of engine room 12.00 <br />Caley Hdw Co goods at water works .37 <br />Fred Ayers labor on hydrants 24.10 <br />Maurice Goodwin tapping main 2 times 4.00 <br />E.R. Fire Depm’t attending fire 18.25 <br />E.R. Blacksmith Co labor 5.50 <br />83.43 <br /> <br />No further business meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />W.F. Chadbourne, Village Clerk <br />
