<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 13, 1920 <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council held at the office of the Elk River Lumb Co on Tuesday, <br />April 13, 1920. <br /> <br />Members present J.H. Virgin, President, Bert Carr, Trustee, Chas Selhauer, Trustee, D.W. <br />Longfellow, Trustee. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the President at 8:15 p.m. <br /> <br />G. Chase and Donald Davis appeared before the council to find out if there had been any band fund <br />levied for $100.00 <br /> <br />John Vacher presented a petition to the council regarding the water main whether they could be <br />extended up Princeton Street as far as his place which is one (1) block north of Tenth St. <br /> <br />John Hamilton offered the Village use of his land as a public dumping ground for the present time <br />until further notice by him is given. This is the property which he bought from Fred Corey. <br /> <br />Motion made by D.W. Longfellow that there be installed Street lights on the Elk River Bridge at the <br />Domm Motor. Seconded by Chas Selhauer and carried that lights be installed. <br /> <br />Motion made by Chas Selhauer and seconded and carried that a light be installed on corner of Mill <br />St and 6 Street. <br /> <br />No further business.
