The organization is not affiliated with the school district. They use two fields on a <br />Wednesday night that typically does not interfere with other users. <br />In 2022, they were grandfathered into the same agreement because their program numbers took a drastic hit with <br />Covid, and it allowed them to budget for field use. <br />For 2023, staff recommends the Elk River Area Special Olympics a field use fee of $25/per field/per day. Should <br />they want lights, they will also pay the same adjusted light fee, which for this classification is $25/field per day <br />and $4/hour for use. <br />Financial Impact <br />The city will receive approximately $300 in revenue, annually. <br />Mission/Policy/Goal <br />Field use rates are intended to be reasonable to foster participation, collaboration and accountability between <br />youth sports associations and the city. <br />Attachments <br />None
