�i <br />Elk River --�- <br />Municipal Utilities UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />ERMU Commission <br />Theresa Slominski — General Manager <br />MEETING DATE: <br />AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />December 13, 2022 <br />1.4 <br />SUBJECT: <br />Recognition of Employee Longevity — Jenny Biorn, 8 years <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Recognize Jenny Biorn for 8 years of service and award the Longevity Bonus paycheck. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In September 2021, the Commission approved a Longevity Pay benefit to be paid to qualifying, <br />eligible employees <br />based on their years of service according to the schedule below. <br />8 years <br />$1,550 <br />12 years <br />$2,025 <br />16 years <br />$2,100 <br />20 years <br />$2,125 <br />24 years <br />$2,300 <br />28 years <br />$3,000 <br />32 years <br />$3,000 <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Jenny Biorn has been an employee with ERMU since 12/1/2014 and, therefore, has earned the <br />8-year longevity pay benefit.
