RESOLUTION 97-13:1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING M.A.S.C. MIGHTY KIDS <br />GRANT FUNDING FOR TIlE DEVELOPMENT OF A <br />CONCESSION/SHELTER AT TIlE <br /> YOUTH SPORTS COMPLEX <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission (MASC), via the State <br /> General Fund, provides funds to assist political subdivisions of the <br /> state of Minnesota for the development of youth sports and recreation <br /> programs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River desires to develop a concession/shelter at the <br /> Youth Sports Comp]ex. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br /> River as follows: <br /> <br />That the estimated total cost of developing said program shall <br />be $40,000 and the City of Elk River is requesting $20,000 <br />from the State General Fund. <br /> <br />That the Community Recreation Director is authorized and <br />directed to execute said application and serve as the official <br />liaison with the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 22nd day of <br />December, 1997. <br /> <br /> /~{~ry~.
