Background/Discussion Together Elk River – Orange Ball Creative has developed a series of print pieces: flyer, tabloid poster, and a table topper. We are working with the Chamber to print and distribute tabloid posters. The corresponding social media posts have also been developed and are currently being distributed by the Chamber’s social media platforms. Those posts are then being reposted by the City and Economic Development accounts. Beautification Committee – The committee has been meeting regularly since May. They are continuing to solicit projects for the 2022 Beautification Award. As of the July meeting, the committee decided to streamline applications to online only. Updated marketing and promotional materials are currently being generated with distribution of print pieces as well as social media posts planned in the coming weeks. The committee is also continuing to look at other communication beautification efforts such as park or corridor clean-up events with local youth and service groups. Financial Impact N/A Mission/Policy/Goal Committees support the goals and objectives of the EDA.
