After nearly having a <br />candidate hired, he withdrew due to family reasons. We went back to market and following interviews, background, <br />physical and psychological tests, we recommend Mason Gates for this position. <br /> <br />This position is intended for students working toward a career in law enforcement. The length of employment is <br />two years and may be extended one year by the police chief. Mr. Gates is a student at Aurora University and works <br />as a Lacrosse Official. He participated as a Police Explorer for the Maple Grove Police Department for four years. <br /> <br />This is a leave benefit earning position and Mr. Gates will start at step A of pay grade 6N.
