<br />Request for Action <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council 4.13 <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Consent April 18, 2022 Lauren Wipper, Human Resources Manager <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Promote Zack Carlton Community Cal Portner, City Administrator <br />Development Director <br />Reviewed by <br /> <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />Approve, by motion, the promotion of Zack Carlton to the position of Community Development Director <br />effective April 19, 2022. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />Item 4.7 identifies a redesigned organization chart effecting the Administration and Community Development <br />Departments. <br /> <br />The current Community Development Director, Suzanne Fischer, will transition to a new position of <br />Environmental Services and Special Projects Director and Zack Carlton will be promoted to the Community <br />Development Director position. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlton will be paid at pay grade 3E step C. All other terms of his employment will be consistent with city <br />policy. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />Financial impact would be about $8,600 for 2022 and would be budgeted for in 2023.
