The initial proposal was for two fabric shade
structures, but the Commission recommended a metal roof structure.

Pricing, installation, and supply chain issues have been a challenge, but staff were able to find two structures with a
red metal roof. The delivery lead time is about five months from the order submission. The concrete pad flatwork
could begin in a few months.

Financial Impact
Two Pickleball Shade Structures with a red metal roof, installation, assembly, and concrete flatwork are a total of
$59,882.78 from the Park Improvement Fund. This is a slight increase from the original PIF amount of $55,000.

Mission/Policy/Goal
Opportunity to live, work and play

Attachments
 Pickleball Shade Structure Concept Plan – handout at meeting
