Call Meetin~ to Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River <br />Park and Recreation Commission was called to order at 7: 15 by Vice <br />Chair Anderson. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Consider 6/6/90 Park and Recreation Commission A~enda <br /> <br />BYRON HOUGHTELIN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 6/6/90 PARK AND RECREATION <br />COMMISSION AGENDA. MARILYN VANPATTEN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consider 4/4/90 Park and Recreation Commission Minutes <br /> <br />BYRON HOUGHTELIN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 4/4/90 PARK AND RECREATION <br />COMMISSION MINUTES. CLETE LIPETSKY SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Park and Recreation Commission that they <br />have no problems with the minutes of the joint City Council and Park <br />and Recreation Commission meeting on 4/30/90 when the Master Park and <br />Recreation Plan was discussed. <br /> <br />4. Review of Hillside Park and Woodland Trails Park Master Plans <br /> <br />Woodland Trails - This proposed Master Plan <br />reviewed by the Park and Recreation Commission. <br />some background information on these previous <br />concentrated on the Woodland Trails park map. <br /> <br />has previously been <br />Mr. Sanders provided <br />reviews. The review <br /> <br />Woodland Trails park map includes: walking areas (wood chips), an <br />interpretive center, a parking area and entrance, benches, picnic <br />shelters and cooking areas, a bituminous (major) walking and biking <br />trail, a hiking/cross country skiing natural pathway, park signage, an <br />overlook area, appropriate lighting and additional plantings. <br />
