<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE ELK RIVER PLANNING COMMISSION <br />HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL <br />TUESDAY, APRIL 9, 1991 <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Commissioners Eberley, Van VanValkenburg, Bischoff <br />and Spotts <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Chairperson Johnson, Commissioners Nadeau and <br />Schroeder <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Janelle Szklarski, Zoning Assistant <br /> <br />1. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the special meeting of the Elk <br />Ri ver Planning Commission was called to order by Commissioner Eber ley <br />at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Consider Conditional Use Permit (Gas Station/Convenience Store) by <br />Holiday Station Stores/P.H. <br /> <br />Janelle Szklarski, Zoning Assistant, stated that the developer for the <br />plat in which Holiday planned to locate had lost financing and would be <br />withdrawing from the purchase agreement with the school district. <br />Therefore, the applicant would more than likely be withdrawing their <br />request for a conditional use permit. However, no formal withdrawal <br />notice has been given to staff at this time. Therefore, staff was <br />recommending that the Planning Commission table action on the Holiday <br />conditional use permit application until the next regularly scheduled <br />meeting on April 23, 1991. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER BISCHOFF MOVED TO TABLE THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST <br />BY HOLIDAY STATION STORES TO THE APRIL 23, 1991, PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MEETING. COMMISSIONER VANVALKENBURG SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />3. Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER VANVALKENBURG MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER BISCHOFF SECONDED THE MOTION.
