Background/Discussion Case No. CU 21-19 The property is zoned R1-c where religious institutions require a Conditional Use Permit (CUP). The applicant is seeking a CUP to construct an addition to the existing church on the subject parcel. The site is 13.07 acres in size, is within the Urban Service District, and has one access to and from County Road 13. The applicant is proposing to expand classrooms and childcare facilities, add additional gathering and community space, and increased security functions, improve flow, and create a more open and welcoming entry while maintaining the familiar character of the church. i I� Planning Commission During the public hearing, the applicant explained the need for the expansion, and no one spoke for or against the request. Staff has not received any comments since the commission meeting. Figure I CR 33 Staff clarified the building is currently connected to sanitary sewer and that Condition #1 can be removed. The Planning Commission had no questions or concerns about the request and unanimously recommended approval.
