RESOLUTION 95- 1 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE ELK RIVER PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> FINDING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY'S <br /> TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR <br /> TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 13 LOCATED WITHIN <br /> DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 IS CONSISTENT WITH THE <br /> COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority's proposed Tax Increment Plan for <br /> the Tax Increment Financing District No. 13 (the Plan) to be located <br /> within Development District No. 1, has been submitted to the Elk River <br /> Planning Commission; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Plan to determine the <br /> consistency of the Plan to the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Elk <br /> River based on the following findings: <br /> 1. The Tax Increment Financing District is located within the <br /> Business Park Zoning District, with an underlying land use of <br /> Light Industrial. <br /> 2. The proposed project's use is consistent with the uses found in the <br /> Business Park Zoning Ordinance. <br /> 3. The Business Park (Country Crossing Business Center) has water <br /> and sewer available to the sites. <br /> 4. The Business Park (Country Crossing Business Center) is <br /> adequately served by atransportation system that is designed to <br /> accommodate manufacturing uses and associated industrial traffic. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Elk River Planning Commission that <br /> the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District <br /> No. 13 is consistent with the Elk River Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Adopted this 22nd day of August, 1995. <br /> LouiseKuester, Chair <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Steven B.
